    • Up The Creek Expeditions
      Half Day Trips
      Okefenokee at Night
Enter into the alligators’ lair. Start out at dusk and paddle into the darkness. Turn on the headlamps to reflect glowing red eyes looking back at you. For the adventurous souls! $75/person

      Lofton Creek
A beautiful hard wood creek in Yulee, Florida located thirty minutes from the shop. Paddle at your own pace through this canopied and protected waterway surrounded by towering maple and cypress trees. See if you can paddle far enough to reach "the Cypress Tree," soaring over 150 feet into the sky and worth the paddle itself. Typically we enjoy two to three hours of paddling on this easy year-round trip. $50/person

      Dark Entry Creek
Nine miles of quiet tidal salt marsh. Paddle with the current through the winding creeks and the Saint Marys River. Although we can never predict what Mother Nature will choose to show us, herons, ibis, wood storks, jumping fish, and the occasional dolphin are frequent companions on this 2.5 - 3.5 hour trip. $50/person

      Cumberland Sound
Eight miles of beautiful open water. Launch in the shadow of Civil War era Fort Clinch and paddle across Cumberland Sound past Tiger Island's strange environment of cactus and palm trees up into the Saint Marys River. From the beach and through the salt marshes come join us and get a chance to see dolphins, submarines, herons, and ospreys as we paddle to our take-out in Saint Marys. $65/person

      Roses Bluff
Our Roses Bluff two-hour trip is a paddle for all kayak levels. It is a wonderful quick trip that gives you a good understanding of just how beautiful this area is and the nature that surrounds this coastal area. This trip takes you through the local salt marshes of the St. Mary’s River and bluffs found on the Bells River. We begin the trip in the St. Mary’s River and continue through a small passage in the marsh to the Bells river. If you enjoy birding, you will enjoy this trip and you may even see some dolphins! $50/person

      Sunset Marsh Paddle
A paddle and a sunset combine for the perfect evening. The cooler temperatures and tranquil waters highlight the marsh's uniqueness. Intense red/orange hues pierce the cordgrass, birds singing from their hidden perches surround the kayaks, and the reminders of civilization quickly disappear. We'll put in and paddle with the tide through the winding salt marshes as the sun slowly sets. This is a true chance to see an entirely new side of this lively ecosystem from the quiet of your kayak. A 2.5 to 3.5 hour paddle. $50/person

      Marsh Exploration Tour
Foster your childs’ curiosity and create memorable experiences. Science teacher Becci Curry leads this expedition into the vibrant marsh ecosystem. Discover and delight as you probe into the cordgrass to uncover its vast resources. Parent and child paddle together in double kayaks on this 2 – 2.5 hour trip. $40/person

      Full Day Trips
      St. Marys River:
Head inland towards the river headwaters where the relaxed pace along the lazy river takes one back in time. Meander through lowland swamp and forests, stop to swim and rest upon the white sand beaches along the route. A 5-6 hour trip, includes lunch. $75/person

      Cumberland Island Plum Orchard
Six miles to paradise. Come join us as we paddle from Crooked River State Park through beautiful and lively salt marshes to the Plum Orchard Mansion on Cumberland Island. Then we'll walk across a true forest wonderland to miles of empty and undisturbed beaches. Pack a lunch and enjoy this true gem of the kayaking world.$90/person

      Cumberland Island Beach Creek
A very different way to experience this special island. We'll launch next to Fort Clinch and paddle across Cumberland Sound to the southern tip of Cumberland Island and then into the salt marshes of Beach Creek landing near the Carnegie estate. Once on the island you will have time to tour the ruins of the magnificent Dungeness mansion, see where Robert E. Lee’s dad was first buried, or just get lazy at the miles of uncrowded beaches. $90/person includes lunch.

      Okefenokee Swamp
Explore this legendary swamp and experience abundant wildlife in a world far beyond ordinary. Paddle through “the land of the trembling earth” down the hundred year old narrow Okefenokee Canal and out into the Mizell Prairie, a watery land of lily pads, alligators and the most amazing collection of bird life in the Southeast. After a stop for lunch on a floating platform surrounded by the other inhabitants of the swamp, we’ll journey back out of the prairies and back (somewhat reluctantly) to civilization. $95/person includes lunch

      All About Alligators
Paddle amongst our mysterious neighbor and better understand these prehistoric reptiles. Learn about Alligator behavior and ecology from America’s renowned crocodilian expert, Dr. Kent Vliet, a crocodilian biologist on the faculty of the Department of Zoology at the University of Florida. Join us for this full day kayak trip as we safely navigate the Okefenokee Swamp. $95/person (includes box lunch)

      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Overnight Trips
      Sea Camp Camping Trip
Spend a very special 3 days & 2 nights camping and experiencing the island's southern beauty. The eight-mile kayak trip to the live oak forest campsite at Sea Camp is just the beginning for this wonderful trip. Tour the ruins of the magnificent Dungeness mansion, explore the maritime forest, or just get lazy at the miles of uncrowded beaches. Kayaks, guides, cooks, tents, food and park fees are included. $299/person

      Brickhill Bluffs Camping Trip
When you want to leave everyone else behind, Brickhill provides the privacy and isolation that many people crave and few achieve. The campsite is situated under large live oaks spreading into a wide, Spanish Moss covered canopy. With only a deep well for water, this trip appeals to the minimalist campers who want to escape the crowds. Campers can enjoy an easy hike to miles of deserted white beaches, or visit old settlements such as the First African Baptist Church, known as both the home to ex-slaves as well as the wedding site of John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette. Kayaks, guides, cooks, tents, food and park fees are included. $299/person
